System Warranty

Solar Light Company warrants this system to be free from defects in parts and workmanship for a period of 1 year from date of installation. Battery exhaustion and lamp burnout are not considered to be, or indicate, defects in this system’s parts or workmanship. Solar Light will repair any component, or at its option, replace a defective system or component free of charge during the warranty period. Solar Light does not authorise any party to modify this system at any time. Any such action will render this warranty null and void.

This warranty does not apply to any Solar Electric System or its components if damage is due to functional alteration or misuse, including failure by the consumer to properly maintain the unit or by use of unauthorised parts or service. This warranty does not cover domestic damage, accident, abuse or negligence.
